The lecturer at the Center for Basra and the Arabian Gulf Studies at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Nasser, participated in the completion of the documentary encyclopedia of the Speicher massacre within a team of four researchers. 2167, and some of their photos, survivors’ testimonies, arrest and investigation warrants, defendants’ statements, judicial decisions, as well as official reports: local and international, local and Arab news, news in English and French, as well as pictorial analysis, mass graves and annual memorial events. The importance of this encyclopedia comes because it seeks to perpetuate the memory of the martyrs and achieve justice, as well as its contribution to providing documents that help researchers to write master's and doctoral studies on the subject. It is reported that the encyclopedia is issued by the Iraqi Center for Documentation of Extremism Crimes affiliated to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine
